The Gulf Information Technology Exhibition or GITEX Global 2022 has been marked as the world’s largest tech event of the year. The event’s 42nd edition, held this year is indeed the largest tech exhibition in history itself.
The exhibition was held from 10-14 October 2022 at the Dubai World Trade Center. This year was referred to as the “Rise of the Metaverse”. From here, the web 3.0 Revolution initiated its journey.
The event reportedly featured over 5,000 companies from 90 countries, over 1,000 creative mind speakers, and 2 million square feet of exhibit space in a venue with 26 rooms.

The biggest tech event of the year began with executives from international tech companies and governments taking over the Main Stage. Bringing their most recent creations, and talking about the direction of technology.
From the second day onwards GITEX included several noteworthy exhibits, such as a flying automobile, autonomous taxi, holographic person, robots, and the latest generation of virtual reality headsets, the Microsoft Hololens 2.
